Many of our programs at HILLS offers door-to-door service. Please call to see if this applies to the program you have signed-up for. For trips the involve flying, we meet at the Denver International Airport. If you need assistance getting to the airport, please let us know.
For some of our programs, HILLS will use anywhere from 1-3 pre-assigned drop-off and pick-up sites in the Metro Denver area for the convenience of our clients and their staff. We need a minimum of 2 clients at each location in order to use that pick-up and drop-off site.
When there are designated pick-up sites, you will receive in the mail a time to meet at that spot as well as directions to the exact location. HILLS staff will wait a total of 15 minutes at each spot for clients. If a client does not show up at that time the staff will leave and there will be NO refund. If you think you will be late at any of our drop-off and pick-up sites, please call the staff at HILLS as soon as you know you will be delayed. We understand there are circumstances out of your control, however one late client can throw off the entire trip by sometimes hours!
Likewise staff will wait for 15 minutes at the end of our trips at the drop-off sites as well. If a client is not picked-up HILLS staff will take the client with them to the next drop-off site and the client can be picked up there. If a client is still not picked up at that point, HILLS staff will go back to the office where the client will have to be picked up and there will be a $50 service fee, plus $50 for each additional hour.
If HILLS staff foresee that they will be late at drop-off sites due to extreme traffic or weather, calls will be made to the contact numbers on file with a minimum of a 30 minute notice. Therefore it is very important that we have all of your up-to-date guardian contact information.
